Up early. Today we were meeting the Italian team. After packing our things and a huge hotel breakfast we took a cab to the airport. Some staff from the "Why Not" project were also there to give us instructions and to meet the Italians also.
At last the group came and we all took a bus to the hotel we were staying at over the weekend, it was located in, what I think the busdriver called it, the "expo part" of Lisbon. It was a very nice hotel indeed. However, the check-in took some time so we had a few hours to explore the city. Anna, Helena, Sophia and I went to the Oceanario (a big aquarium). Fun.
In the afternoon it was time for "ice-breaking". Sophia and I were in a group with Nicola, Riccardo, Maximilian, Catherina and Charlotta from Italy and the idea with the whole thing was to get to know each other. Together with our staff-girl we took the Metro to some old part of Lisbon and wondered around there to answer some questions, sort of like a quiz walk. It was a very cute district with small streets and old houses, one billion churches (not really) and a tiny pub/kiosk/café in every streetcorner. But, how nice the view might have been the looong walk almost killed us all. Lucky enough we got to sit down at last for dinner. Not the best food in the world, but good enough.
The Metro back to the hotel and Sophia and I chopped of our feet from all the pain. Okay, not literally but almost... When lying in our beds there suddenly was a knock on the door. There stood three sweet spanish dudes who invited us over to their room for a "fiesta". The visit to Room Espagnol was not long though, the bus leaved 05.45 the next morning for the trade fair.

Hey folks! Amanda speaking. I've finally got time to sit down to write about mine and Sophias trip to Portugal, so here's my story:
Thursday=departure day! I think I can speak for all of us when I say that it was going to be excitning. We left Sandviken at 10 a.m. and headed for Stockholm, Arlanda, where we arrived at about 12.00. We sat down and had a bite before the plane left: pasta for Anna and Helena and a sallad for Sophia and I. After that we took off to the gate.
We landed in Frankfurt at first, for a change of plane and to stretch our legs. At around 17.00 the plane left for Portugal, Lissabon. Boy was that a boring trip... To sit still for that long is the worst thing I know.
Since we landed quite late (around 20.30) we were all kind of tired. So we took a cab to the Holiday Inn Express and went straight to bed, mm-mm-mm!

presentation of the company and the local newspaper
Hellooo!
It's still a bit messy on the blogsite, and also a few things that has to be changed before we are happy with it!
A few days ago we presented our company to a jury, and they liked us, so we are presentating our company on Wednesday to the rest of the Young Enterprise companies here in Sandviken! I believe that the presentation was quite good then? :)
We also got interwiewed by the local newspaper and you can find the article here.
At the moment we are doing a lot of preparations for the fair in Lissabon that Amanda and Sophia are leaving for on Thursday. We are very excited!
We will try to keep up with the updates mor often than we are doing right now, but we have a lot if work to do - so it's hard to make it all go hand in hand right now!

Italy
Johanna and Anna went to Italy Februari 17 to 22, to participate in a meeting with the rest of the Enterprise Without Borders-members reference to the trade-fair in Lisbon next week, where Amanda and Sophia will be attending.
In Italy Anna and Johanna met the representatives from the other countries that are involved in EWB, to discuss the upcoming trade-fair that will be held in Lisbon next week. During their stay the also had some time to do some tourism in the country. They went to Venice on a very rainy day - but they thought it was really beautiful. They also saw a lot of Bergamo with it's steep but cozy roads.

On Sandvikens website you can find an article about Anna and Johanna and the time they had in Italy here.
Since there is only one week left until Amanda and Sophia are going to Portugal we have a lot of work and preparation to do before they leave.

we're going through changes
Welcome to our blog! This blog used to be in Swedish, but we decided to change the language into English instead, so that our partners from abroad can keep up with us Swedes
So all of the old posts will be erased or changed into English, and it will be kind of chaotic around here for a day or two. We apologize for that and hope that you will still enjoy reading about us although it will be in English.
